Homeopathic Remedies - The Truth
Homeopathic remedies cause raised eyebrows from many conventional medical experts. There are many reasons for their criticism and reactions to alternative medicine. One of the main reasons for their negative attitudes is money. Doctors and pharmaceutical companies make hefty salaries from sales of conventional medicine, and when there are products that cost roughly one third of what conventional prescription medicines cost, and produce positive results, they feel threatened.
What The Conventional Medical Experts Won’t Tell You
Here’s a brief example of what we’re discussing. Say for instance you have genital herpes, and you go to Walgreens or your physician for a prescription. Do you think they’re going to tell you that Herpeset is an effective homeopathic treatment for herpes outbreaks that doesn’t require prescription, and it costs a mere 50 bucks per month but they don’t carry that product?
Absolutely not! They’re going to recommend their “top of the line” medicine that requires a prescription and costs about 150 bucks per month. Now you’re walking out of their place of business wondering whether or not this medicine will actually help, and your wallet is a lot lighter! It makes perfect sense from a business standpoint, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best option for you, the consumer. The conventional medical experts know alternative medicines can relieve many different conditions, and they also know you can get these cheaper remedies on the internet, and at most health stores. They fear that alternative medicine will send more consumers to mom and pop health stores, and cut deep into their profits, so they view these medicines as “quackery” or a scam.
Don’t misunderstand the message, there are some very serious conditions that require stronger medicines with unnatural ingredients. For instance, a person suffering from AIDS or cancer should not rely exclusively on homeopathic remedies for treatment. However, a combination of conventional and homeopathic medicine can be very effective treatment for both diseases.
Another prime example would be a person who has severe acne. Their doctor may neglect to tell them that aloe vera is one of the very best remedies for acne, eczema, burns, rashes, and other skin related conditions, and Aloeride is a supplement that contains 100% pure aloe vera. They won’t tell their patient they can get Aloeride on the internet for a fraction of the cost of the conventional medicine they are going to prescribe.
The bottom line is that conventional medicine is very important in society today, but it is not always the most effective treatment for some conditions, and it is never the most cost effective solution. After all, if a homeopathic remedy doesn’t work at least you don’t have to worry about side effects or even death. It just didn’t happen to work, and you can pursue other options. The same cannot be said about conventional medicine. One wrong prescription can lead to physical and mental disaster. Do your homework when choosing an effective remedy for your ailments, and consult your physician in most cases. Just don’t believe everything they recommend is the best, and most cost effective solution.
